Viability and Sustainability
 

HITnet’s Program Director is responsible for ensuring that the program continues to develop strategically and build on outcomes and existing partnerships to create a viable, relevant and sustainable network, with potential for expansion to other populations in need. Project activities currently underway include:

  • Assigning HITnet software IP and Copyright to the Uni of Qld
  • Negotiating further government funding for the short and medium term
  • Developing commercial partnerships within QUT Creative Industries Faculty
  • Establishing inter-sectoral partnerships at Commonwealth Government level
  • Commencing integration of HITnet into Qld Health’s core business
  • Building philanthropic and corporate relationships, and
