New Media Production is cutting edge

Software Transition

HITnet have been working with our existing software for some time now, and have engaged the services of QUT's Australasian CRC for Interaction Design (ACID) to audit our current software embedded into our touchscreen technologies nationally. The aim is to totally redesign and give more functionality to the community user, and the ability to create even more innovative content to deploy to our national network of touchscreen kiosks.

Head Office Relocation / Apple Creative Environment

HITnet will be relocating to a new office towards late 2007, and as such we are looking to upgrade our core creative infrastructure. To ensure that our new media is cutting edge we are looking closely at implementing a full apple creative environment.

If you feel you can support support HITnet with our creative environment, please drop us an email to info@hitnet.com.au

National Indigenous Health and New Media Forum (NIHNMF)

Networking is a very important component of HITnet's ability to remain cutting edge. NIHMMF has recently been funded and the inaugural forum will be held in 2008. NIHNMF is a national forum but is part of an international conference; Creating Futures. The aim of NIHNMF is to network between other Indigenous peoples and organisations who are working in the same field as HITnet to network and form partnerships; strong partnerships = strong people.
